This App Privacy Policy explains how The IT Laaitie handles information when you use our Tag-You-R-IT! mobile application on Android or iOS. It applies to the app, its support services and app-related enquiries.
The app helps you scan, create, write and share smart contact and product information using features such as NFC and QR codes. Available features may differ by device and app version.
Depending on the feature you select, the app may process contact or profile details, telephone numbers, email addresses, website links, social links, notes, QR content and NFC tag content. You control the information you enter, import, scan, save or share.
If you contact us for support, place an order or send an enquiry, we may receive your name, contact details, message, order reference and information needed to answer the request. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
NFC may be used when you deliberately scan or write a compatible tag. Camera access may be used to scan a QR code. Photos or files may be accessed only when you choose an image or save or share content. Contacts may be accessed only when you choose to import or save a contact.
The app should request a permission only when the related feature needs it. You may refuse or later withdraw permission in Android Settings, although the related feature may then stop working.
On supported Apple devices, NFC may be used when you deliberately scan a tag. Camera access may be used to scan a QR code. Photo-library or contact access may be requested only when you choose a feature that needs it.
You can review or withdraw app permissions in iOS Settings. Withdrawing permission will not remove information already written to a physical tag or deliberately shared with another service or person.
Information created inside the app may remain on your device, in a QR code, on an NFC tag or in a destination you choose. A receiving app or person handles information you deliberately share under their own privacy practices.
Support and order records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, keep required business records, prevent misuse and resolve disputes. You may remove local app data through the app or device settings where available, or by uninstalling the app.
Google Play, Apple App Store, your device provider and any service you choose to open or share to may process device, store, diagnostic, purchase or account information under their own terms.
Before release, every third-party SDK and service in the app must be reviewed. The Google Play Data Safety declaration and Apple App Privacy answers must accurately reflect the app's actual behaviour, including third-party code.
You may choose what information to enter, decline optional permissions, change device permissions, remove local content and decide when and where to share. Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing.
We may ask for enough information to verify that a privacy request relates to you. We will not ask for your device password or app-store password.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent information to us should contact us for review and, where appropriate, deletion.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and size of our service. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this policy when the app, law or store requirements change. The current version and effective date will appear at the top of this page, and material changes will be highlighted.
